Austin Air HealthMate Plus Filter | Replacement Filter for VOCs and Chemicals

New flooring, fresh paint, print equipment, salon products, and traffic exhaust all release chemicals that a standard carbon filter only partly handles. The Austin Air HealthMate Plus filter is built for those spaces, with a carbon blend that targets volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, and benzene.

What Makes the Plus Filter Different

Both the standard HealthMate filter and the HealthMate Plus filter use over 780 cubic inches of carbon and zeolite with 60 sq. ft. of medical-grade HEPA. The Plus filter adds potassium iodide-impregnated carbon to that blend, giving it more capacity for chemical gases and off-gassing from new furniture, cabinetry, and building materials. Choose it for renovated offices, salons, print rooms, and buildings near busy roads.

Inside the Four Filtration Stages

• Stage 1: Large Particle Pre-filter. Removes particles easily seen by the naked eye (e.g., dust, hair, and pet dander).
• Stage 2: Medium Particle Pre-filter. Removes finer particles (e.g., molds, spores, and pollen).
• Stage 3: Over 780 cubic inches of activated carbon, potassium iodide-impregnated carbon, and zeolite. Removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases, and odors.
• Stage 4: 60 sq. ft. of true medical-grade HEPA. Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 99% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns.

Upgrade Any Standard-Size Austin Air Purifier

The filter is made for the HealthMate Plus, and because Austin Air standard-size filters are interchangeable, it can also move a HealthMate, Allergy Machine, or Bedroom Machine up to HealthMate Plus filtration. Plan on up to 5 years of service under normal residential use, and change the Austin Air standard pre-filter between filter swaps so dust and hair don't load the carbon stage early.
