PURTABS Disinfecting Tablets for Electrostatic Sprayers and Surface Cleaning

PURTABS 3.3g tablets are fast-dissolving, effervescent disinfecting and sanitizing tablets from EvaClean. They dissolve in water to produce a variety of strengths that meet the range of needs for every facility, covering food-contact sanitizing as well as sporicidal disinfection. Compact and concentrated, PURTABS dissolve quickly in ordinary tap water and eliminate the cost and environmental impact of shipping water across the globe.

Mixing PURTABS in a Protexus Sprayer

PURTABS pair with the Protexus Handheld Electrostatic Sprayer and the Protexus Backpack Electrostatic Sprayer. One tablet in a 1-quart sprayer tank makes a 1076 ppm disinfecting solution with up to 800 sq. ft. of coverage, and four tablets per quart make a 4306 ppm solution for C. diff spores. For smaller or larger batches, PURTABS also come as 334 mg tablets and 13.1 g tablets.

Kill Claims and Contact Times

At 4306 ppm, four 3.3g tablets per quart kill Clostridioides difficile spores and Candida albicans in 4 minutes. The same strength kills Aspergillus fumigatus in 1 minute. At 2153 ppm, two tablets per quart kill C. diff spores in 10 minutes. At 1076 ppm, one tablet per quart kills E. coli O157:H7 and Staphylococcus epidermidis in 10 minutes. At 100 ppm, one tablet per 2.5 gallons sanitizes food-contact surfaces with no rinse.

How to Use

1. Wear chemical-resistant gloves to handle dry tablets.
2. Fill the sprayer tank or container with cool tap water.
3. Add tablets for the strength needed: 1 per quart for 1076 ppm or 4 per quart for 4306 ppm (2 per quart makes 2153 ppm).
4. Let the tablets dissolve fully, then apply and leave the surface wet for the label contact time.
5. At 4306 ppm, wipe plastic and stainless steel with water once dry if residue remains.
