Quat refers to quaternary ammonium-based disinfectants. It is widely used in disinfectants that are effective against human coronavirus.
Unopened, our wipes have a shelf life of one year.
Always follow the directions on the package. As a general rule of thumb: when you are cleaning a surface, simply take a wipe from the wipe dispenser and wipe down the surface you are cleaning, removing any visible soil and/or grime. In order to disinfect the surface, additional wipes should be used to thoroughly wet the surface and the surface should remain wet for the appropriate dwell time as indicated on the wipe label. The surface can be allowed to air dry.
Cleaning means physically removing dirt, germs, and debris from a surface – wipes are an excellent way to clean a surface.
Sanitizing means applying a product that kills 99.9% of the germs identified on the label. Our Sanitizing Wipes and Wellness Center Wipes clean and sanitize.
