The Cybex VR1 Chest Press offers a feeling of security to beginning and intermediate users. It features an overhead pivot that provides a natural path of motion. The dual grips provide a barbell grip to emphasize chest, or a vertical grip which emphasizes the anterior deltoid. The barbell grips are angled to provide a neutral wrist position, and the seat adjusts to accommodate user height. Additionally, the pressing arm adjusts for range of motion and to accommodate varying user leg lengths.

The VR1 dependent motion provides a feeling of security to beginning and intermediate users. By having both arms working together in a fixed plane, the chest press exercise feels more controlled for a comfortable and secure training movement.
